Our most CRITICAL
"helmet" (whether we realize it or not) is the one that IS absolutely
essential for the combat…we ARE presently engaged in! It is the helmet designed
by God: Ephesians 6:10-17: The Armor of God!
"Finally, BE Strong IN the Lord and in His mighty power…Put ON the full armor of God…so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Therefore put ON the FULL Armor of God…so that WHEN the day of evil comes…you may be able to stand your ground...
Stand Firm….with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of PEACE.
Take UP the SHEILD of Faith…with which you can extinguish ALL the flaming arrows of the evil one.
TAKE the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which IS the Word of God…"
“God provides the “helmet” to protect our minds. When the enemy tries to infiltrate our thinking with doubts about our salvation, the helmet becomes our protection. You ARE God’s own child...He Himself redeemed you from slavery. He does NOT want the enemy to overcome you... You ARE secure in your relationship with GOD! The Power WITHIN you IS greater than the power in your enemy. Give NO place to doubt. Take your STAND for God…IN confidence…wearing you helmet of salvation.”
PRAYER: Father God…Today I put on the helmet of salvation…so Satan will NOT have a stronghold on my thoughts…Lord…today I rejoice IN my salvation and ask You to help me keep my mind focused on You! Amen
