Reflections on Matthew 5:
“Praise You Jesus…Bless
You Father…You Bless the Poor In Spirit…” Amen
Our Savior gives us eight characteristics
of “blessed” people…for The Kingdom of His Grace and His Glory is for them! Jesus said: “Blessed
are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven!”
The poor in spirit are
happy. This brings to mind to their condition…they are humble and lowly in
their own eyes. They see their want…and they THIRST after a Redeemer!
