Father, I lay at your feet my petitions.
I ask that you would quiet my mind, so that I may begin to hear your still small voice. Allow me to just let go of what I have just laid at your feet, and be silent. Speak boldly to me today through all my senses…help me to just be still and know that you are God. Comfort me with patience, as I wait for your wisdom.
Thank you, for your word affirms my Trust in You for wisdom:
Proverbs 2:1-5 (New International Version)
Moral Benefits of Wisdom
1 My son, if you accept my words
and store up my commands within you,
2 turning your ear to wisdom and store up my commands within you,
and applying your heart to understanding,
3 and if you call out for insight
and cry aloud for understanding,
4 and if you look for it as for silver
and search for it as for hidden treasure,
5 then you will understand the fear of the LORD
and find the knowledge of God.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (New International Version)
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heartand lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight. [a]
