Prayers for Paris…and this world…so much distress…
Truly we are in a time of WAR…Good against evil

Jesus tells us to expect distress in this world…as we are not citizens here upon this earth…merely passing through…

The Love of God is rich and pure…the end has already been written…and Good WILL win…

ALL evil WILL be judged accordingly…and the Love of God…shall forevermore endure

Amen

Heaven is For Real…

In this year, I have experienced the loss of some very special people in my life…ALL way to young to die…each in a different place of faith.

Death is inevitable…and dying young seems so unfair. Whether we choose to believe in God or not…life is and will be difficult.  No one is exempt from hardships that will come our way.

It is not always easy to embrace or understand that God allows us to be in trial, so that we would learn to depend less on ourselves and more upon Him…We were designed this way.  Man has always been a seeker…of truth…understanding…wisdom…love.  Our flaw is that we  chronically look elsewhere first…before looking to our maker.  And that is human nature, as purposefully designed.

Many of us know, we did not know the depth of love from God…until we had hit the rock bottom…no where to go…except to look up.  And this is why He allows the tough times…our eyes…and witnesses to our struggle…begin to look up…and “seeking” becomes “seeing” to what God is doing…has done…and is faithful to do, as we begin to trust IN Him.
Character is developed, hearts begin to change, and the “net” effect may open the door to new found faith in God as we “see” His graciousness.

This IS part of the grand plan…as the world spins…and life seems so unfair…more are drawn to the knowledge and love of the Lord.  With each disappointment, the Lord continues to shed His mercy and His grace…and the kingdom of God grows.

God IS working ALWAYS…and in All things…
The bible tells us this in Romans 8:28

And we know that in ALL things, God works for the Good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”

This verse has allowed me to let go of the bondage of fear…and receive peace that I am loved, watched over, and protected…no matter the trial.  It does not ease the pain of loss, but it does help me make sense of senseless times.

The good news is that death is NOT the end…and if you choose to believe, Jesus tells us that there is an eternal place that He has prepared for you to thrive!

“Do not let your hearts be troubled. As you believe in God believe also in me.  My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.”  John 14:1-4

Life will continue to not make sense as we do NOT live in Heaven yet.  Times will be unstable, unpredictable, and our hearts will be drawn to seek understanding…Jesus knows that we are “in the battle” here on earth and tells us NOT to be afraid…

“All this I have spoken while still with you.  But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.  Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid. John 14:25-27

God gave us this amazing gift in Jesus, so that we may not only have an eternal life free from pain, sadness, and death…but a life FULL today upon this earth. “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” John 10:10

Once we know this truth, life begins to make a little more sense, and our trials become blessings that multiply personally, and radiate to others who do not yet know.

May we praise our loving God in these times that we are not forgotten.    May our eyes be opened to “seeing” how the Lord loves us.  And may we receive His eternal love…hearts changed, new found faith in God revitalized…and more will choose to believe and follow God as we “see” His graciousness in these times.

Father, today I pray that more will accept the free gift of salvation and life abundant TODAY…in seeking Jesus….and to receive your Amazing Grace and Peace you offer us in our days here upon this earth…Amen

Jesus...THE Alpha and THE Omega!

In the bible, He is found in the FIRST verse of Genesis, and in the LAST verses of Revelation.

“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”
Genesis 1

“I AM the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” Revelation 22:13

“Alpha and Omega are the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet.  It was common to use the first and the last letters of the Hebrew alphabet to denote the whole of anything…from beginning to end. And Jesus proclaimed Himself to be the ‘Alpha and Omega’ in Revelation 1:8, 11; 21:6; and 22:13

Jesus being the ‘Alpha and Omega’ is that He was at the beginning of all things and will be at the close. It is equivalent to saying He always existed and always will exist

A second meaning of Jesus as the ‘Alpha and Omega’ is that the phrase identifies Him as the God of the Old Testament. Isaiah ascribes this aspect of Jesus’ nature as part of the triune God in several places. ‘I, the Lord, am the first, and with the last I am He’ (41:4). ‘I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God’ (Isaiah 44:6). ‘I am he; I am the first, I also am the last’ (Isaiah 48:12). These are clear indications of the eternal nature of the Godhead.

Christ, as the Alpha and Omega, is the first and last in SO many ways.  He is the “author and finisher” of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), signifying that He begins it and carries it through to completion. He is the totality, the sum and substance of the Scriptures, both of the Law and of the Gospel (John 1:1, 14). He is the fulfilling end of the Law (Matthew 5:17), and He is the beginning subject matter of the gospel of grace through faith, not of works (Ephesians 2:8-9). He is found in the first verse of Genesis and in the last verse of Revelation. He is the first and last, the all in all of salvation, from the justification before God to the final sanctification of His people.

Jesus IS the Alpha and Omega…the first and last, the beginning and the end! Only God incarnate could make such a statement. Only Jesus Christ is God incarnate.”

Each of us struggle and grapple NOW with pain, loss, change, and MANY uncertainties in this life…

If JESUS is THE Beginning and THE End of time as we know it…then our burdens today WILL BE seen through from start to finish…

He will NEVER leave yourside…He will be ALWAYS be your shelter, and He will take care of ALL your needs…

In Trust…and IN thankfulness we claim you Jesus…THE Alpha and THE Omega of MY life…as I journey here on this earth…Amen

“Grace and Peace be Multiplied to You…”

“Grace and Peace be Multiplied to You…”
2 Peter 1:2

Who would not want this blessing?  The world continues to “seem” to spin faster…with instant information, knowledge, and ease of comparing ourselves to others in this world…looking for hope and continual frustration with our days is almost inescapable…

Would not everyone LOVE to receive abundant grace and peace today???

There are certainly many ways to find peace. But, as a believer in Christ, we have been GIVEN this promise to ALWAYS receive it, as we put our Faith and knowledge IN God and His beloved son Jesus.

The words “I AM” in the bible speak to the authority and THE Name of God.  “I AM” appears 719 times in the Bible!  508 times in the Old Testament, and 211 times in the New Testament.

Most people have heard the name of “God.”  And it is a personal choice to embrace a Divine maker.  The thing is, is that whether you choose to embrace God...HE embraces you!  The bible says HE cares deeply for you…if you would just turn to Him…cast your cares upon Him…you would receive this promise of “Grace and Peace” upon request.
1 Peter 5:6-7

It is humility…HE seeks…and pride often gets in the way of a humble heart.  But does pride always produce Grace and Peace?

Embracing a posture of humility is not easy, but God promises to reward the humble heart….and it is in this posture that He begins to reveal Himself to you.  With each step of trust, a humble heart begins to receive the great mystery* that is God…God is NOT dead…as many quote these days.  He is ALIVE and seeking more who will humble themselves.  The blessing is ALWAYS Grace and Peace…

And who would not want to always receive Grace and Peace?  There is HOPE in God…there is PEACE that surpasses all understanding…and it starts with a humble heart…the Lord will do the rest…Amen

Prayer:
Father God, I too have been doing life on my own terms, thinking more about me…than HE…I desperately want to feel some peace, and receive your grace in my life…you are a great mystery to me, but today I ask you to begin to soften and mold my heart to receive humility.  As I take this baby step of trust, I accept the free gift of your grace and peace in my life.  As you transform my heart, reveal yourself to me…and the plans that you would have for my life.  I seek to know you more…to learn about the “gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages” Romans 16:25
Thank you for loving and seeking me today…Amen

*1 Corinthians 2:7 the wisdom we speak of is the mystery of God--his plan that was previously hidden, even though he made it for our ultimate glory before the world began.

In Confident Expectation

Just as the sun rises and sets each day…so does the Lord guide all of our days…
Although we have been given the ability to anticipate tomorrow, we are called to live in today…
So we “seek FIRST the Kingdom of Righteousness…and all these things shall be added to you…” Matthew 6:33

We can have confidence “in the morning, O Lord, as you hear my voice…and as I lay my requests before you…I will wait in expectation…”  Amen

Psalm 5:3

Asking for Wisdom from God….

It IS Promised in His word…Ask and you WILL receive wisdom from God…As  you walk IN Faith with God…

Proverbs 2:1-5 Every young man who listens to me and obeys my instructions will be given wisdom and good sense. Yes, if you want better insight and discernment, and are searching for them as you would for lost money or hidden treasure, then wisdom will be given you and knowledge of God himself; you will soon learn the importance of reverence for the Lord and of trusting him.”

Proverbs 3:5-6Trust the Lord completely, and don’t depend on your own knowledge. With every step you take, think about what he wants, and he will help you go the right way.”

How often do we consider these Holy directives…and just choose to go our own path…?

Human weakness seems to lean that our own wisdom is just as good…or what we think we should do…is what He would suggest anyway…

But is there any PEACE in this thinking?

You know… His answer might be exactly what we are thinking…confirming an instinct, BUT…it may also be FAR from our own thoughts and direction…and we know this…
Secretly hoping for our own way…so we just don’t ask…in fear as we might not get our way…Acting a bit like a child…and we are…getting adjustments from our Father in Heaven on where we should go next….

That “FREE will”` seems gets in the way…and the path gets tangled…and OUR choices…well we sometimes learn the hard way…until we get “back on His path”

In reflection….I believe we tend to FORGET a key part of this PROMISE in His Wisdom gift…and that is PEACE…

It is human nature to struggle with what HIS answer MIGHT be…BUT…No matter HIS answer…It will always reveal the path to PEACE…

As we stand at that the intersection of choice…is there really PEACE without Gods directive?

I continue on this mantra of “The Lord is my Sheppard”…Most days I have NO idea on which path to follow…and lately this is ALL I can say…

But IN this statement…I am confirming who IS in charge…that He has a pre designated path for me…and I acknowledge that His path is GOOD…even as I do not know what I want…

What I DO know…HE is the PRINCE of PEACE….so what ever direction He desires of me…I WILL have Peace…Amen!

Are you in that place of struggle?…Looking desperately for some PEACE?  Me too J  Continue to join me in this daily mantra…confirming that THE Lord…is Your Lord and Sheppard over ALL things…And HE does ALL things well…

I will WAIT upon the Lord…and graciously RECEIVE His amazing PEACE!

“The Lord IS my Sheppard”

Isaiah 9:6
This will happen when the special child is born. God will give us a son who will be responsible for leading the people. His name will be Wonderful Counselor, Powerful God, Father Who Lives Forever, and Prince of PEACE.”

AMEN

Troubles…Trials…GRACE

HE Speaks….Troubles…Trials…GRACE

Each day has it trials and troubles….some days may seem utterly hopeless…I have been in that place…many times… in my walk with Christ…There have been some days I do not even have it in me to plea or beg my cause…and that is ok…

Lately, I have been back IN that place…I know the Lord is with me….my conversations with Him are keeping it real…Lord I feel defeated, loosing hope, frustrated, angry, and the list goes on…But this is what we are called to do…Going to prayer and pretending everything is fine…and “oh by the way can you fix this?”...Is NOT what a REAL relationship with the Lord looks like…

There are times we should be in tears, on our knees, feeling defeated…and IN the arms of the Maker….Even if we are just quiet, no begging, no pleading, no bargaining…Just with the Sheppard…

He will always comfort us…and in time, will speak with authority…and we will know…His directives are Good…and His ways are perfect!

When we are in a restless place…This IS the time the Lord is COMPLETELY focused on you….You may feel left alone, weary, and lost...But He has never left your side…You are in “construction” and He is working FOR your cause…creating a Brand New path…possibly never considered…and that is the way He works!

IF we had the direction or vision ourselves…we could SO easily give our self the credit…

WHEN we are broken…and in the heat of the battle for hope…His answer is ALWAYS…GRACE.

And how do we find and receive His Grace?   Well I guess there are many ways IN Christ…But for me, lately it has been a very simple 5 word statement… “The Lord Is My Sheppard”   No long prayer requests….no pleading or begging for relief…Just these five holy words…

As many of us know…this is the beginning of Psalm 23.  The psalmist guides and assures us through the meaning of daily struggles…
That Lord does not leave our side…and that we are most precious to Him…And are struggles are not for nothing…
And that we WILL someday be IN His very presence…for an Eternity of no pain…and no more struggles….Praise our Jesus…we have this assurance IN Christ!

If this devotional strikes home with you today…follow me IN stating this Holy truth “The Lord is my Sheppard” and RECEIVE His amazing Grace… Amen

Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd…

I have all that I need…He lets me rest in green meadows
He leads me beside peaceful streams….He renews my strength.
He guides me along right paths…bringing honor to his name.
Even when I walk through the darkest valley…I will not be afraid,
for You are close beside me….Your rod and your staff protect and

Comfort me.  You prepare a feast for me in the presence of my enemies.
You honor me by anointing my head with oil….My cup overflows with blessings.  Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me
all the days of my life…and I will live in the house of the Lord forever!  AMEN

"Did Not The Messiah Have to Suffer These Things and Then Enter His Glory?"

Jesus said…“When I was with you before…I told you that everything written about me in the Law of Moses and the prophets and in the Psalms must be fulfilled.”  Luke 24:44
Our Lord was confirming that the past horrific days before his resurrection…His past months of his ministry…the past years of history recorded in Moses and the prophets….as completed…fulfilling every detail, as it was written “for the forgiveness of sins for all who repent…” mankind reconciled with God…The Father.
How long it took to fulfill this master plan…from the moment sin entered the world in the Garden of Eden…to this day our Lord Jesus makes this statement…Each day and event purposeful…even in a world dominated by sin….there was a plan for our redemption.
It is clear from the beginning…sin blinds mankind.  The beloved Israel consistently wanders…forgetting previous generations that saw Gods faithfulness and forgetting their “first love…” (Rev 2:4)   Yet in this human flaw…weakness to sin…and in Gods plan….the Gentiles are lovingly folded into His plan for salvation (Ephesians 3:6)…part of the plan…and someday His beloved…the Israelites eyes will be opened and return to their 1st love…Isaiah 49:15  God is Faithful….
God knows our human weakness and uses it to bring more into the fold…In our weakness, He begins to shape His children…to become children of light, even as we fall weak to our flesh and temptations…and we too forget our first love…
After the crucifixion of Jesus, in only a few short hours…doubt creeps in…
Jesus had preached a promise of return, a master God plan fulfilled…the promised resurrection after death…and it is quickly forgotten…replaced with doubt, worry, fear, and disappointment.

Luke 24:21

We had hoped he was the Messiah who had come to rescue Israel. This all happened three days ago.”

It is the natural lean of mankind in moments of desperation…forgetting that each day GOD has a purpose…and the story is NOT yet finished.  Jesus assures us of this truth…in HIS FIRST words…post resurrection... PEACE….be with YOU!  (Luke 24:36)
In His sacrifice…and In Jesus…we can have PEACE…as we trust IN Him and in Gods plan to bring His Master plan to fulfillment “starting that day in Jerusalem…”

Luke 24:46-47

And Jesus said, “Yes, it was written long ago that the Messiah would suffer and die and rise from the dead on the third day.  It was also written that this message would be proclaimed in the authority of His name to ALL the nations…beginning in Jerusalem‘There is forgiveness of sins for all who repent.”
As Israel waits for their King…God waited for the day to redeem mankind…each day planned, purposeful, and perfect for the fulfillment of the scriptures…

So as it is today…From the Garden of Eden…to the Day Christ was crucified….to that “Day” when our Lords returns…descending from Heaven with a shout!…(1 Thessalonians 4:16-18)  Each day must happen as it is written…each day littered with sin…but with a promise of redemption…for a time where there will be no more sin…no more tears…no more death…(REV 21:4) all passed away…to a NEW place and time where we will see and worship with the Lord forever!
Amen

Prayer:  “Father God…your words tell us to ‘Keep watch and pray, so that we will not give in to temptation...For the spirit is willing, but the body is weak!’  (Matthew 26:41) You know this about us…In Jesus name…inspire us to pray always…and to find confidence IN you…that in each day…you LOVE us unconditionally despite our flaws…Father Thank You…as promised…You will be our Savior…as each day is written…We hold steadfast to your words of Truth for Peace…and redemption…until your Grand return to claim your children and bring them home to an eternity in Heaven with you…In your Glorious Name I pray…" Amen

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18

”For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the believers who have died will rise from their graves.  Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever.   So encourage each other with these words.”

HE Speaks “The Lord PROMISES to Preserve us....”

Psalm 139:23-24 (ERV)  “God, examine me and know my mind...test me and know all my worries...make sure that I am not going the wrong way…lead me on the path that has always been right.”

It is a powerful tool to use your bible as place to "mark" circumstances in life...where we plead, where He answers....where we find clarity....and where we find rest.

Our days are over consumed with many things not of God, easily forgetting His faithfulness, His Goodness, His sovereignty over our lives....And time is a fickle thing....as we have NO perspective of Gods timing…in reference to a lifetime of eternity.

Today as I gaze upon His truth, my "marker”, spring 2006, is written upon the page, next to Psalm 139:23-24…."Oh God…search me and know me..."

Asking the Lord to "inspect" and lead the way in a life is a BOLD prayer…that many have prayed.  The results of His guidance often lead in directions we would never have considered...or even desired....

Speaking these words in prayer is a bit like asking the Lord to do a "spring cleaning" in our ways. To refine us…to cleanse us of the unnecessary....to shed us of the old...and renew...repurpose our path.  Maybe it's an opportunity to finally see our God given gifts and use it for the growth of the Kingdom...Or maybe it is a time we are to be tested, and put in the thick of the battle...

Regardless, the Lord will see these times to completion...
“If I am in trouble, you keep me alive...If my enemies are angry, you save me from them…
Psalm 138:7

Praise God there will be times of rest and times where we flourish in our faith.  However as believers in CHRIST we are told to expect the battles....and there will be those times where the battle seems to never end...as we plead...the oppression of the enemy seems to never end...it may be tempting to lose hope....and others may even say to give up on your God...(Luke 8:49)  BUT…the Lord PROMISES to Preserve us....Psalm 138:7

"Although His answer seems so long in the coming and we continue to walk in the midst of trouble....the center of trouble IS the place where He preserves us....NOT where He fails us… The times we continue to walk in utter hopelessness are the very times He will stretch out His hand against the anger of our foes. He will bring our trouble to completion causing the enemy's attack to cease and to fail."  Aphra White

In personal reflection of this prayer....I have seen His Goodness, and His faithfulness.  I remember a time as I marked this date in 2006...that I was in despair...seeking refreshment and wanting the Lord to bring something new in my life...trusting IN Him....as I would NOT know the path, that He would provide....asking for wise counsel…thanking Him for being my Shepherd...and protecting the way...
He fulfilled ALL of these requests…and more….

There are uncountable ways the Lord has answered this prayer in Psalm 139:23-24 in the lives of his followers....

ALWAYS….His Grace is the same...ALWAYS His Word is True...ALWAYS  IN His Faithfulness HE Never leaves your side....And He ALWAYS answers the prayer....

Maybe with the strength and courage to make it through...
Or the miracle to end the suffering....
Or quite possibly the warmth of His hand to bring another one of his sheep home to an eternity in Heaven with our loving God…

But my eyes are fixed on you, Sovereign Lord…IN you I take refuge….do not give me over to death.  Psalm 141:8 (NIV)

Each day planned...each has a purpose...each day the name of the Lord will be glorified...as we follow His lead...walking IN faith...IN thankfulness....His promise....His will…it is Good…and it WILL be done...
.
Today as I look upon Psalm 139....I have “marked” spring 2015 next to verses 17-18…writing “God is faithful...”

“How precious to me are your thoughts oh God! How vast is the sum of them!
Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand…when I awake, I am still with you.”
Psalm 139:17-18 (NIV)

About 9 years later....I reflect….the battle was harsh and long...and at times seemed endless...BUT...the richness in relationship, the lessons learned....the amazing grace....the opportunity to grow in my faith....to be bolder in my love of the Lord...and to witness how He has "preserved " my life...in this long time of unrest…

This was how the Lord chose to "inspect" my ways....not what I expected...not what I desired...this was a purposeful time that would guide me to see " His ways to completion" and the name of the Lord be glorified!

Prayer  “Father God…thank you that you never leave our side...that you walk in the midst of trouble and preserve my life....use these times to grow my faith...refine me and shed the things unnecessary in my life…revealing your goodness and desired path for my life. Thank you that you have already gone before me to fight the battles, to bring about goodness and mercy for me IN your Righteousness...IN Jesus name, I accept the peace you offer in our times of trial, and to confidently have Hope IN You...Thank you that you fight ALL our battles and will bring ALL our troubles to completion...causing the enemy s attack to cease and to fail....”
Amen

A Good News Easter Message! "The Legion"

God has an amazing way of expressing who He IS…through nature...
Even superficially...one can stand in awe of the amazing beauty around him and call it good.

Today....in His Wisdom and Grace…this mountain image seems to beautifully reflect the scripture I have been reading as of lately...

It is spring time in the
Colorado Mountains. The days are getting longer and the sun is getting higher with each day as winter slips away.  On this day, I find myself outside enjoying the warmth of the sun, while reading His word.  I look up and am refreshed by the mountain air and the wind on my face....it is as though ALL the trees are cheering....as I read the living word....Celebrating in its Truth!

SO many trees...too many to count…some big, some small, some medium, some fat, some skinny, some weak...and some strong....It reminds me of his church....everyone in a different place....purposefully…on His chosen path in this journey of life.  But as the wind blew... Each tree holds its own...standing strong despite the wind...despite the size…and this reminded me of what we each have in Christ...the army of God that daily surrounds us...

Although we cannot "see" this army of God...that goes ahead of us... that fights the fierce spiritual battles...that protects us until we are called home....the battles are real... and His Army of Angels Prevail…Praise our Father...Bless you Jesus!

Jesus referenced the heavenly army on this Easter week in the
Garden of Gethsemane... “Put your sword back in its place,” Jesus said to him, “for all who draw the sword will die by the sword.  Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels?”

(Matthew 26:52-53)

The literal definition of ONE legion... is “a unit of 3,000–6,000 men in the ancient Roman army.”  Or known as “a vast host, multitude, or number of people or things…great in number”

More than 12 legions would be over 70,000 angels in our Lords heavenly army.....immediately available at His call…There may have only been hundreds of men around Jesus in the garden of Gethsemane, as the scripture says Judas came with the chief priests and elders in a "large crowd", carrying swords and clubs.  No match for 70,000 powerful angels!

This was a pivotal moment, as it speaks to the heavenly authority of Jesus Christ.  However…it was Gods will for Jesus not to speak...not to call on his righteous authority.... but an innocent man…the Son of God…to be treated like a criminal....in order to fulfill the scriptures for our salvation. Praise you Father. Bless you Jesus.

In this Holy Week...as we remember what Christ did for us on the cross so long ago....may we be reminded....because of His sacrifice.... we not only are given “the FREE gift of eternal salvation”(Romans 3:24, 6:23), but also through the Holy Spirit that now dwells IN us…a "legion" of angels to stand firmly around us in our days here on earth!

Jesus acknowledges the weakness of humanity in Matthew “The spirit is willing…but the flesh is weak” (Matthew 26:41) Daily, we need this heavenly army around us to press on, find hope, and most importantly have PEACE…on our journey through this life.

IN Christ, we are sealed…protected…as the MOST precious in His eyes…and He will daily fight for us…until we arrive home, with our Father in Heaven.  “He has set His seal of ownership on us…and put His spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come!” (2 Corinthians 1:22) AMEN!

So when the wind starts to blow in our lives, the Lords heavenly legion stands strongly around us.   His promise is to NEVER leave your side…“The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms...He will drive out your enemies before you, saying, 'Destroy them!” (Deuteronomy 33:27)

The Lord is NOT hiding...He is Waiting...waiting for seekers...And He WILL be found…Jesus said… “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you…seek, and you will find… knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives…and he who seeks, finds; and to him who knocks, it will be opened” (Luke 11:9-10)

Our Lord Jesus…HE IS Grace!  HE WILL bring you back... He WILL Gather His sheep...and they WILL be with Him for Eternity! (Jeremiah 29:13-14)  Amen!

As I look upon this amazing beauty today, and "SEE" the multitude of strong trees around me....at LEAST 70,000....I am awe struck.  As believers in Christ, we are called to live by faith...in fact Jesus said we are “blessed” because of our belief in what we cannot “see.” (Luke 11:28).

But…every once and awhile it is GOOD to get a "glimpse" of what He tells us IS His Truth...will you gaze upon this picture....?  And think upon these things...?
He has revealed and hidden in the hearts of the man, who obediently follow His call...Truth..(1 Corinthians 2:10)

Jesus IS GOOD.  HE IS Worthy.  He IS our Savior for NOW, as we journey....and into Eternity…where his faithful followers are blessed to be in His BOOK of LIFE. (Luke 10:20, Exodus 32:33, Rev 13:8)

Good Friday and Easter IS His invitation to be IN His Book of Life!
In Luke 13, Jesus speaks in parable about a fig tree that is not producing fruit.  The owner of the vineyard expresses interest in cutting it down as it does not bear fruit. But the caretaker asks for one more year…to encourage it to bear fruit...
This IS a parable that expresses His invitation for Holy Grace....there IS still time.. Before "that day" where ALL will actually SEE Him, and say His Holy name. (1 Thessalonians 5:2)

NOW is the time of GRACE…The Lord waits patiently for more to seek Him...

If you have not yet seeked the Lord for your forgiveness of sins...He is waiting for you... NOT in disgust or shame…but IN LOVE.  YOU are MOST precious, and He desires you to seek His face, know His love, find Him waiting…wanting to bring you into His family!  It has been said that “never has a man that found and accepted Christ as Savior…has ever been sorry.”

There is abundance IN Him....Abundance in life NOW…as we journey…
Abundance in a promised eternal life....part of God’s Family…and our names in the Book of Life!

Prayer: “Father God I thank you for your son Jesus….He died on the cross for ME…for my imperfections…for my sins...I thank you and believe that I am FREELY forgiven through Him…the son of God, who died on the cross to save ALL…who will accept this FREE gift of eternal LIFE…Thank You Father God…IN Jesus…ALL are welcomed into your eternal kingdom…that my name is now in your Book of Life!  As I make this statement today, Father, I am far from perfect and I ask you to gracefully reveal yourself to me in my days, as I journey through this life...Be my legion...protect my days…and draw me closer to you for life abundant now…I thank you for including my name in Your Book of Life…for an eternity in Heaven with you!  Blessed be your sons name…Jesus...today I pray…I open my life to you…Amen”
