HE Speaks…The Calvary

As a maturing believer in Christ…we will get to the point of asking God to be used…

Allow me to make a difference for you…

I want to be used by you…

It is a honorable step in faith…but should not be taken lightly

We are truly presenting ourselves…as a sacrifice…to the holiest of holies

We effectively are signing up for His Calvary!...To be put into the line of fire…to do battle…with sometimes unpleasant outcomes.

There is no doubt that our commander in chief will be with us in the heat of the battle…but we can expect to be exposed to less than peaceful times.

There will be times of peace and rest in His service…Praise God!
But…

When we sign up for His Calvary…we have to be ready at a moments notice to fight...to take risks…to trust His leadership…and to jump back into the heat of the battle when He calls us…

Thank God we can always go to Him…Cry out to Him in the heat of the battle and He will hear our cry!

We will seek His Face…And He will prove himself faithful and a stronghold forevermore!

I have run through ALL the emotions…anxiety, worry, empty faith, sadness, anger, doubt, and now peace…peace of mind

Those emotions were all a direct result of my trying to manage my circumstances...

This is the Lords job, not mine

It is truly released…

In search of truly finding faith?

When we live by it, act on it, and cling to it…faith begins

HE Speaks…It is HIS Desire…


I am scared, because it looks hopeless…

I am discouraged, because obstacles continue to cross our path…

I am exhausted, because these circumstances seem endless…

But these feelings and emotions are only a reflection of our human frailty.  It is ok to be scared, discouraged and even exhausted...

But…rather than face it alone…We have a best friend, a confident, a savior that can EASE the burden

This IS His desire…acceptance of our limitations, and release of what we cannot understand, and cannot handle…

In thankfulness and trust we walk…

The Potter’s Clay

As a believer in Christ, the word says we are clay in His hands…But what about fear?…fear turns the clay hard
Fear allows the clay to begin to turn into a stale dry mass..Completely unshapable

But the potter NEVER throws away the clay
He can wash the old clay in water, and re mold into a brand new shape…including changing its purpose!

Stepping out in faith with God, on what terrifies us the most, is much like the potters wheel.  The clay must be on the potter’s wheel to begin to be shaped and made into something new!

God has BIG plans for you.  Stepping on to the potters wheel may be the hardest thing you will ever do…
But…it will be the most rewarding!

His plans, for your shape, are far more exquisite than you will ever know or could even imagine!

As the potter, He will ALWAYS keep His eye on you, and lovingly shape you to whom He saw you to be...Before He knit you in your mother’s womb

ONE

To be just One who prays for another…

If we pray only for ourselves then who would benefit?

It takes just One person to lift another in need…

A thankful receiver is blessed and returns the blessing
to another…and to another…

And God blesses the One… ten fold for reaching out to the One…

We cannot empty ourselves completely until we surrender ourselves
and focus on another One…

One person can daily pray for thousands in need

One person can daily pray for a stranger in need

“The Job Experience”

In these troubled times, and weakening economy, God has put our family on a very unfamiliar road.

I am beginning to call it my “Job” experience…financial distress, loss of a job, displacement of our current living circumstances, health crisis…all in the course of 6 months!

A non-believer might find it hard to believe that my mantra has been “if God is for me, than who or what can be against me?”  (Romans 8:31)  But, I truly believe that each of these circumstances have been purposeful.  He IS doing a work in me…for such a time as this! (Esther 4:14)

Although we may never understand all of His ways…(Proverbs 3:5-6)  And as He weaves different circumstances into our life…we can be assured that He loves us, and He has a future and a hope for us! (Jeremiah 29:11)

Today, our circumstances still seem precarious…but He has us by His right hand, eager to lead us the right way!  (Isaiah 41:10)   Just one day at a time…this is all I am called to handle…and in thanksgiving and praise I will glorify our Lord for what He is already doing on our behalf today!

The bible says that the “fear of the Lord is the foundation of knowledge.”
(Proverbs 1:7)  Certainly in any troubling circumstance, it is our natural tendency to want wisdom.  We want answers now!  I have learned that true wisdom is a God given gift…A direct result of an eager search, starting with the word of God.  The pathway of wisdom may be unclear and sometimes strenuous, but ultimately in dedicated quiet time, God will reward our persistent search!

God’s blessings to you and on your journey!  As always I love to hear your comments…and your stories of God’s presence in your life.  Please share!

When we come to You in prayer, we affirm our belief in you…Oh Lord

When we lift up our needs in Jesus name, we affirm Your will in our circumstances…Oh Lord

When we stand by another’s side in prayer, we affirm You stand right beside us pleading our needs to the Father…Oh Lord

Jesus…Open our eyes to what you would have us pray today…Oh Lord

How can we come along side You and be Your hands and feet to those that need prayer?

You desire us to be in Prayer…
You desire us to be in close communion with You…
You desire that we lift up our daily needs to You…
You desire us to lift the needs of others to You…

Father, we admit we can be blind to another’s needs

Open my eyes to see the needs of another and bring it to prayer…In Jesus Name!

Thank You Father for the gift of prayer!!!

Continue to guide me daily to a life of prayer!

HE Speaks…My Hands are holding you!

Before I was born… He knew me!

HE Speaks...The Birth Of Jesus!!!

Luke 2:1-10 (New International Version, ©2010)

1 In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. 2 (This was the first census that took place while[a] Quirinius was governor of Syria.) 3 And everyone went to their own town to register.
4 So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. 5 He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. 6 While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son.
