HE Speaks…I Love your imperfections…

This song, “Saints and Angels” by Sara Evans may not speak directly about a relationship with God…but every time I listen to it….it reminds me of the depth of my own personal relationship with Christ!

Making mistakes…putting my own agenda before God’s…forgetting Thankfulness…choosing to “pine” for something else…

In our sin, we get “bogged” down…and feel the weight of the world…Forgetting that with God…we can FLY!!!

And through it all…in this roller coaster journey HE has us on…HE has the GRACE to SAVE US…in the HERE…in the NOW…and in HIS KINGDOM COME…His will….it WILL be done!

Are you ready to “FLY”?  There is an amazing “flight” filled journey awaiting…

Ask God to help you see all that HE has planned for you…and to shed that which weighs you down…Stepping forward in FAITH and to FLY!

HE Speaks…The Broken Road…

Walking by Faith…even when I cannot see...it IS the broken road…that PREPARES your will for me…to see Christ!

The Broken road…when we are at are worst, when we are SO confused, when our sadness is overwhelming, when everything seems to be going wrong, when life feels like it is falling apart…God is there…preparing HIS will for me.

It is hard to embrace the “broken times.”  And yet if we claim Christ as our savior, we WILL experience brokenness.  We WILL be broken…we are meant to experience brokenness…to better “see” CHRIST!  That IS His will for me…

Only in brokenness can we “see” our Savior…He IS our Savior!!!

He has come…to heal you…to fill you…to feed you…to love you…to protect you… to SAVE YOU…This IS the original covenant…

God WILL stand by His first love…His master piece…His children of Abram.  He WILL do as His word claims…Never leave your side…Always to be a champion for your cause!  Protecting you ALWAYS!

In our misery, pain, and sadness, our eyes are often clogged with tears, un able to “see” that God is right there, interceding on our path…to the Father.

I trust you Jesus…this IS where I begin to see…

I trust you…even though I cannot see the path you prepared for me…

I trust in my God, because HE gave me Jesus to get through this time…

I am trusting this “broken road” leads to Christ! 

I trust you Jesus…you WILL reveal yourself to me…

I trust you…even as my eyes are clogged…Your rod and staff guide and comfort my way…I WILL see you move on my behalf…

We CAN CONFIDENTLY put these broken times in His hand…and embrace the unknown path ahead…

After stating such TRUST…receive the PEACE…that ONLY HE can offer…confidently walking forward on the path…IN HIS Will….that He has prepared for me.

HE Speaks...on Seasons...

What season does this devotional find you in???  A time of rest?…A time of Growth?… A time to shed the old self and put on the new…

Whatever the Season…Spring…Summer…Fall…Winter…We all go through the high and low moments in this journey of life..."Seasons"

Praise you Jesus!!!!...You stand faithfully by our side and beautifully bless every moment of the journey...

The Maker is seeking YOU!  During ALL of your Seasons…even if it feels quiet and dormant…HE is there…working, loving, caring…ALWAYS on your behalf…

HE Speaks on Surrender...August 2012

Fear is NOT of the Lord….If you have fear, anxiety, or worry…let’s call it as it is…a LIE!!!!  The enemy loves to hassle you on your weakness…

1 John 4:18 (NKJV) There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment.


So Lets Pray…Jesus...your word tells us you are ONLY of love…fear, worry, anxiety is torment and NOT of you!  In Jesus name I pray…I feel tormented…Hassled with these emotions…Please rescue me from the emotions of fear and replace them with your PEACE.  I TRUST you Jesus…to protect me…and provide the PEACE you offer ALWAYS!!!!  In Jesus name, I pray…Amen 
  

 SO often we continue to try to “surrender” our circumstances to the Lord…and some how we just continue to feel burdened by them. 

 Ultimately, I think we often find ourselves trying to lift “up” or “off” these burdens to the Lord…and yet not always feeling the peace.  Our minds picture surrender as something we “do”…but actually it is something HE does…

 Surrender is really confession.  It is verbalizing to the Lord where we are “at” the good…the bad…and the ugly…true honesty of what is on our plate right now.  And just…here it is Lord… Here I am Lord… I do not know what to do…I am “stuck” here…What would YOU have me do next?  What would you like me to know now?  Where do I go from here?  This is where the healing and transformation begins…

 When we realize surrender is not about us doing, but of HIM taking the load, and replacing it peace, love, grace, abundance…we are set FREE!

 If you are struggling with something…I would highly recommend to pencil in a date with the Lord…preferably away from your normal life..maybe the beach…the park…on a hike…or wherever you can just be real with the Lord…And just begin the conversation...

 Here I am Lord…this is where I am “at” right now…with all honesty and truth…the Lord want us to say it like it is.  Even if your feelings right now do not align themselves with Gods will…there is nothing wrong with saying this is how I feel.  Scared, frightened, alone, confused…angry…whatever the emotion…be honest. 

 Prayer:  God …please just meet me where I am “at” today.  In Jesus name…I want my heart to be right with you…Please take resentment out of my life…Help me to face the world again with a fresh perspective… Help me to focus on YOU in the future... Replace my pain with your Peace… Replace my hurt with your Healing…Replace my bitterness with your Love... 

Jesus…this whole life transition is SO much bigger than me…you have designed something I cannot see yet…I state my trust in You today… In Jesus' name I pray…Amen  


The rest is up to Him...you need not do anything else...He will surrender the anger, the fear, the guilt, the pride, the sadness, the anxiety...and ALL the other emotions for you...This is called AMAZING GRACE!  And you will get the peace...and surrender...finally!  AMEN!


  Christ is your BEST friend!  Beginning this kind of friendship…an amazing confident…will change your faith and your spirit will begin to soar in directions you never thought possible! 

 His holy spirit is truly the BEST gift we could have or want in this life.  We are part of the Church Age!  And we are SO fortunate to have this gift of the guiding spirit in each of us…AMEN!

I love the personal relationship Moses had with our Lord…He was candid with the Lord admitting vulnerabilities…and like a child, asks for the Lord to hold his hand…as the next step would be scary and hard… 

Our Lord has promised to NEVER leave your side…admit your challenges, and ask Him to be alongside and go ahead…as we take an unfamiliar journey…Amen

As I walk through the valley of the shadows….Lord…the details seem SO dark... and there is no immediate light at the end of the path…I will fear NO evil, for you are with me…your rod and your staff, they comfort me…

I claim your peace at this time…as my blindness is not a hindrance, but a blessing, as I am solely dependent on you…JESUS…my GOOD Shepard…YOU will guide my way through the valley…and the Lords name WILL be glorified!

HE Speaks...Do Not Be Discouraged...

You are NOT being punished…You have made mistakes… we must live up to the consequences of our decisions…

Although mistakes may have been made…the Lord has forgotten…and is with you NOW to make something NEW for you…

You can walk forward…away from the past…and NEW good will emerge…like new growth in the spring…you have been pruned…and now the nurturing of NEW growth begins…past forgotten…

Your obedience will NOT be overlooked…You have been faithful to walk in trust during this time of test…the Lord will continue to honor your faith…and abundantly bless you…

DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED!!!

Prayer…Father…I thank you for “THIS”….I thank you for my Jesus… who carefully guides every step of the way…It will be good!  Your word promises it WILL be GOOD…I praise your name that you hear my prayers…and you never let me go…Let the name of the Lord be glorified through me…and forevermore...AMEN!
